Ohio Restaurants Not Playing Olympics Following ‘Insulting Opening Ceremony’

Multiple restaurants in Ohio have vowed not to show the Olympics in their shops after the “insulting” opening ceremonies mocking the Last Supper.

Restaurants located in Columbus and Cleveland, owned by Bobby George, issued a statement Tuesday announcing their decision.

“We will not tolerate any form of discrimination or desecration. Therefore, we will not be broadcasting the Olympic games at any of our restaurants,” the statement read.

The 2024 Olympic opening ceremony, which aired last Friday, featured a reenactment of the Lord’s Supper with drag queens.

A group of provocatively dressed drag queens stood behind a long table during the performance, appearing to recreate the Lord’s Supper.

Social media users expressed their concern over the ordeal, some saying it was “extremely disrespectful” to Christians.
